poor service even before we arrived

I made a reservation for six via the online form (since B&B doesn' t publish a phone # for reservations) and almost immediately received a confirmation. Wonderful Space!

This is an intimate and beautiful space, and very different from the other bars in SF. While it seems pretentious to have reservations at a bar, you appreciate it once inside while not waiting for a drink or in a bathroom line. Whatever...

Trying to be sooo kewl but just not enough. Service was slow and aloof for a dead evening. I was reamed for arriving a little late, told I may not be able to stay for very long, but once inside there were plenty of open tables!?
