On Saturday, February 12, the museum will hold Bella Luna: Dessert Under the Stars. This romantic event will include a Valentine-themed Cosmic Concert (which is a blend of laser lights, images and digital sound) in the museum’s new Bryan Gooding Planetarium, as well as music, games, prizes, stargazing and time to explore the museum.

Guests will then head up to the rooftop to enjoy desserts, beer and wine, with a wonderful view of the Jacksonville skyline across the river.

Tickets are $35 for museum member couples and $45 for non-member couples. This adults-only event is scheduled from 7pm to 10pm and pre-paid reservations are required.

The Museum of Science and History is located at 1025 Museum Circle in Jacksonville, Florida. Call 904-396-MOSH, ext. 240, for more event details or purchase tickets online.

After the event, if you’re still not ready to call it a night, head across the bridge to Mark’s Downtown Lounge. They’ll probably be having a Valentine’s soiree as well, and the club has a nice fun vibe to it.

If you’re still up after that, consider a sunrise walk together on nearby Amelia Island.
